Beaches & Big Wave Surfing

Todos Santos is known for its big wave surfing and gorgeous beaches. There are several beaches in the area including La Pastora, San Pedrito and Cerritos. La Pastora is a beautiful sand beach with a minimal crowd. San Pedrito is another sandy beach where whales spout near the shore, and mangoes ripen twice a year. Cerritos is a very popular place to surf. The shoreline is dotted with surfers tents and it is a relatively safe place to swim.

The closest beach to Casablanca Bed & Breakfast is La Poza. While it is not suitable for swimming, it is perfect for a liesurly stroll, fishing, whale watching, and sun bathing. It also has a large freshwater lagoon that is great for bird watching.

And last, but certainly not least, is Las Palmas Beach. This highly secluded piece of heaven on earth sits amongst the Palm Oasis bordered by a reed lagoon and protected by rock promontories on both sides. Groves of palm trees frame this gorgeous small beach. Ruins of an old Rancho are nearby. Las Palmas is ideal for hiking, swimming, and body surfing.

The beautiful bay of La Paz is filled with a variety of tropical fish and sea life which makes for one of the world's best kayaking and fishing playgrounds. While on the water you are sure to see colonies of sea lions snoozing on the rocks or playing in the surf. Search the coastline for caves, blowholes and underwater caverns all visible through the crystal clear Pacific waters.
